She is caring and would always think about others than herself, like how she wants Payton's dream to be achieved and gave up her romantic feelings towards Brigitte.

Throughout the Series

Season 1

Georgina Hobart is a devoted and loving mother to Payton, her adopted son. She has two other sons, but she says she loves them less because they aren't kind. Georgina loves to work in the garden, paint, and to help out her family.

Georgina's husband eventually forces her out of the will, upon finding out that she had a deep love affair with a woman. Georgina doesn't need money and she decides that she will go live in Bhutan, since it is supposedly the happiest place in the whole world.

Season 2

Georgina Hobart's story in season 2 begins after Dede Standish accuses Payton Hobart of merely running for office to help strengthen his mother's gubernatorial campaign in California. In a number of flashbacks, we learn that Georgina's campaign began after she began noticing the consequences of climate change. With the backing of her billionaire girlfriend, she launched a run for California governor. She garnered more support after her performance at a debate hosted by CNN's Jake Tapper where she pledged to establish a California independent of the United States.

Payton's campaign team branded Georgina's campaign a problem and so Payton sought to convince his mother to drop out of the election. She didn't and continued with her campaign. While campaigning, she was approached by presidential hopeful and Texas Senator Tino McCutcheon who asked her to be his running mate in the next presidential election. They began to have an affair even though Tino's wife was still in a coma. Georgina would go on to win her gubernatorial election with 98 percent of the vote. When Tino's wife wakes up from her years long coma, she holds a press conference where she reveals the many disgusting comments made to her by her husband while she was in a coma including Tino's sexual relationship with Georgina. Georgina holds a press conference of her own where she admits to having an affair and announces that she had dumped Tino with a text reading "Loser, bye".

Georgina quickly gets bored of being governor and so decides that, after a year in office, she will pursue something else: president of the United States. She approaches Dede Standish and offers her the vice presidential candidate position. Dede agrees and they run together. Running on a platform of introducing monumental change, Georgina wins the election and becomes the President-elect of the United States.

Relationships

• Payton Hobart - Her beloved adopted son. Out of the rest, she is most close to Payton and would do anything to achieve her son's dream to become a president.
• Keaton Hobart - Her husband but she married him because of money. She doesn't feel any romantic feelings towards him.
• Luther and Martin Hobart - Her biological sons but she is not that close to them. She blames herself that she fails as being a mother to the both of them.
• Brigitte - Unlike her husband, she has romantic feelings towards Brigitte and had plan to run away but never happened. They had an affair until Keaton found it out. After that he made them break up or else he wouldn't leave any inheritance to Payton.
• Allison - a fling she has after her divorce
• Tino McCutcheon - a fling with the Texas state senator which she abruptly ends, texting "Loser, bye", after his wife holds a press conference announcing what a pig he is
